Moms Make it Happen
Our purpose has always been to show up for families when it matters most. Sometimes that means holding your hand through the mysteries of potty training, and other times that means marching for policy reform. We know parents and kids will change the world, here’s a few of the ways we try to leave things better for the next generation.

10K Match Campaign for
Hurricane Helene Relief
Hurricane Helene Relief

In just 4 days, together with our friends at Bobbie, BLF raised $23K for a total of $33k in donations to Mercy Chefs, a disaster food relief organization bringing warm meals and essentials like baby formula and clean water to families impacted by Hurricane Helene. No one should have to worry about how to feed their child, especially in a time of crisis.

With Year Round Essentials

Powered by YOU, the giant-hearted BLF community, our friends at Baby2Baby have provided nearly 20,000 critical items to children across the country who would otherwise go without, including summer, back-to-school, and winter necessities such as diapers, warm coats, and school supplies.

Fighting for Safer Schools and
Comprehensive Gun Reform
Comprehensive Gun Reform

As moms who send their kids to school every single day, Kristin and Deena are passionate about passing the assault weapons ban, reducing gun violence, and saving lives. BLF partners with leaders like Moms Demand Action, Everytown, Be Smart, and March Fourth on campaigns for safer gun storage and reinstating the assault weapon’s ban, as well as advocacy trips to DC.

Maternal Health Matters:
Lexapro, Loss, and Leave
Lexapro, Loss, and Leave

Moms are the backbone of BLF, and supporting her is our priority. Spurred by her own experience-turned-viral-Instagram-post about the life-changing power of Lexapro, Kristin is a fierce advocate for normalizing maternal mental health. BLF has also endorsed Senator Duckworth’s Support Through Loss Act, appeared on CNN to address the US Surgeon General's declaration that Parenting is a Mental Health Crisis, and contributed to Newsweek on the very personal subject of suicide prevention.

Committed to Raising Inclusive

Families

As caregivers and future raisers, BLF believes in creating a loving and supportive environment for all kinds of kids and families to thrive. Across more than three years, dozens of instagram posts, and numerous financial donations, we’re proud to support PFLAG, the nation's largest organization dedicated to supporting, educating, and advocating for LGBTQ+ people and those who love them.
